About Us
Why was LeafletNow.org created?

You might be surprised to learn that the seemingly simple approach of distributing leaflets about factory farming and vegetarianism is one of the most effective activities in terms of time spent, use of resources, and results.

By leafleting, we can provide a respectful avenue for individuals to educate themselves about what is happening on today's factory farms and to also learn about positive alternatives to animal products. Rather than feeling pressure or judgment, recipients of leaflets can review the information on their own time and draw their own conclusions. This is what results in true and sustainable change.

To reach out to animal activists looking for effective advocacy methods, Compassionate Action For Animals and Vegan Outreach have teamed up to produce an invaluable resource in this website that makes a case for leafleting, but that also gives practical tips, networking opportunities, and information on the state of factory farming.

Compassionate Action for Animals

Compassionate Action for Animals (CAA) has been serving the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul) community and Midwest region since 1998 as a non-profit. CAA's educational outreach and community building efforts span throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area, Minnesota, and nationwide.

Vegan Outreach

Established in 1995, Vegan Outreach is a non-profit organization working to expose and end cruelty to animals through the widespread distribution of our illustrated booklets Why Vegan? (.pdf), Even If You Like Meat (.pdf) and Compassionate Choices (.pdf) along with our follow-up Guide To Cruelty-Free Eating (.pdf). VO's activist network covers the United States and the international community, having distributed over ten million brochures since its inception.
